For several years the RTNDFTEACHER listserv has offered immediate communication among more than 400 teachers across the country. We want to keep the communication going and offer ways for teachers to continue subject threads, to choose the subjects that interest them.

If you've been on the RTNDFTEACHER listserv for a while, you know that sometimes the same questions, important questions, come up again and again: "Can you recommend a textbook? a curriculum? gear for my beginning class?" We wanted to try to put those questions in one place that can be updated constantly. We also wanted to eliminate universal posts that are meant for a specific person.

That's why we are introducing this new forum. It's an opportunity to experiment with a new form of communication to see what works and what might need to be changed. It's a work in progress, so I encourage you to try it out and ask questions. Don't worry. You will still have access to the RTNDFTEACHER listserv.
