To help you stay on top of the latest events in the broadcast journalism industry, HSBJ maintains a list of conventions, seminars, and workshops.

• March 19, 2009 — March 21, 2009 at Orlando, FL STN - East Coast RTNDF is a sponsor of the Student Television Network's first East Coast convention - exciting, educational experience for you and your students.
• April 16, 2009 — April 19, 2009 at Phoenix, AZ JEA Spring Convention Get a sneak peek at the latest RTNDF NewsU course, come to any of a dozen sessions and check out new RTNDF/Kent State University online courses just for teachers.
• April 18, 2009 — April 20, 2009 at Las Vegas, NV RTNDA@NAB 2009 RTNDA@NAB is the premier conference and exhibition for radio, television and online news. It is produced by the Radio-Television News Directors Association, the world's largest professional organization devoted exclusively to electronic journalism. RTNDA represents local and network news executives in broadcasting, cable and other electronic media in more than 30 countries.
• August 7, 2009 — August 12, 2009 at Boston, MA AAJA is now accepting applications for JCamp The Asian American Journalists Association (AAJA) is accepting high school students' applications for its free 2009 J Camp, August 7-12 in Boston. Application deadline is April 10.
• November 13, 2009 — November 15, 2009 at Washington, D.C. JEA/NSPA National High School Journalism Convention Heading to JEA/NSPA in November? Check out the sessions sponsored by RTNDF/HSBJ.
